The Less-Stress Way to Print

1. Clear your plate

Not your dinner plate - more like your never-ending stack of to-dos and commitments kind of plate.

Can one thing on your list be delegated to someone else? Often, we hold onto tasks out of fear. Or a sense of obligation.

There are people on your team that would be happy to take on something new. Get creative. Keep your eyes open for opportunities for help.

Additionally, outsourcing is a great to-do list weapon as well. A partner that specializes in your pain points is just a phone call or email away. Not sure what copy to put on the brochure? Not sure how to design what you’re looking for? Need an idea for a promotional item?

Rather than spend time and effort, outsource and oversee. You’ll reap the benefits of working with an industry know-it-all. And your plate will be much more clear!

2. Create a Tool

Do you have difficulty keeping on top of your print supplies? Look no further than Excel to solve this issue.

Create columns with the following headings: Item, Quantity to keep on-hand, Current inventory.

Creating a quick and easy visual of the print documents that keep your business running will help you feel super organized. And, this tool makes the task easy to delegate (see #1 above).

A team member can quickly scan what you have on-hand and jot the current inventory numbers down. Once they get the worksheet back, you can easily see where your needs are.

3. Get Academic

3-ring binders aren’t just for high school. A super-effective tool for keeping your print documents organized is a binder filled with clear page protectors.

Then, as each print item is created for your business, you put one sample of each inside the binder.

No need to feel overwhelmed by this task, simply move forward and begin collecting samples as documents are printed.

You’ll never have to run here and there to find a sample to check a document proof.

And you’ll never be completely “out” of a document with no proof available to you.

Your homeroom teacher would approve. And you’ll instantly feel less stressed about print documents.

Discover for yourself that print and marketing can be stress-free and enjoyable.
